Primary Care and Wellness Refresher Programs
The University of Western states has designed a post – doctorate program “Primary Care and Wellness Refresher”, which is a review of the procedures and interventions bringing colleagues up to speed so they can provide primary care health services in their practices. One of the goals of the program is to provide the knowledge needed for those colleagues to choose to practice at the top of their licensure and scope, and act in the capacity of Primary Care Providers. This text from Chiropac Newsletter 5/2014 contributed by Dr. Vern Saboe, ACA liaison, and OCA legislative lobbyist (541) 231-4528.
We are hoping to see programs like these showing up around the country, to assist field doctors in providing the new standard in primary care health services and “Wellness Care”.
